Possible Life on Mars

Methane has been proven to be on Mars. Whether it is created from geological or biological is yet to be proven. It could also be ancient methane trapped. There obviously has to be many more tests and observations done before anything conclusive is found out. January 2003 was the first detection of Methane on Mars, in which the process began in 1999. They have a spectrometer that can measure methane up to 1 part per trillion. There will be another opportunity to launch an explorer to probe Mars, and the landing area will be determined within the next two years. The best way the scientists can determine whether this is biological or geological is a test of the Isotopes. Mars is our future. Read all about it from the NASA website:

Israel Attacks Americans!

Israel needs to be put in its place. Former Presidential Candidate Cynthia McKinney attempted to deliver supplies to the heavily bombarded Gaza Strip. Her ship was rammed several times by the Israeli Navy. This is a direct violation of International Maritime Law. We cannot forget the USS Liberty, which was attacked by Israeli Fighters in the 60s. We cannot allow Israel to run rampant in the Middle East, they need to be treated like children, like the rest of the Middle Eastern Countries. We should not stand for this direct attack on an International Peacekeeping Mission.

Woke up this morning.... got myself a Gun!

If you want an assault rifle, or other fascinating gun you better get it now. If you have not heard of HR 1022, then look it up on http://thomas.loc.gov

This bill bans gun not only on capacity and round size, but also simply by name. Right now it sits in committee, and I predict that it will be on Obama's desk as soon as possible.

So get out there and buy yourself a gun. I definitely plan on buying a 6.8mm AR-15 type rifle. Most likely it will be Olympic Arms www.olyarms.com , even though there are many AR-15 type manufacturers , it seems as Olympic has the best price point for the product AND it is totally made in the USA!! If you have watched the Military Channel you will have seen that this is almost the perfect bullet. The 6.8mm has the knockdown power of the 7.62x39 with the accuracy of the 5.56mm(.223).

So when the revolution starts in 2012, be prepared. Even though the .40 caliber is supposed to be the 6.8mm equivalent in the handgun, I still prefer the .45ACP because this pistol bullet is a beast. The .45GAP does look like it may be THE bullet, but I really don't know how to make a comparison and haven't done enough research to make any claims to it.

So get yourself an assault rifle and a handgun.

2008 NASCAR Season Review

Congratulations to Jimmie Johnson in his 3rd consecutive NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship. He has made history being on the second to achieve this in NASCAR. Cale Yarborough is other driver who has accomplished this feat. Whether you like the #48 team or not, you have to recognize that these guys know what they are doing. Unfortunately for Dale Jr, his final race was representative of most of his season. He ran well all day starting back in 22nd spot, and racing around the Top 10 all day. Then near the end something broke on his car, and he had to park it. This just shows that there are still some fine tune issues that go along with be consistent every week. Junior had a good run this year, even though he won't be going to New York based on points. Junior's cars were very good this year, with only 2 DNFs, and usually you could find him in the Top 10 or Top 5. There were many laps lead this year, and even a win at Michigan. I think this was a good transition year, and with a little more luck, next year ought to be even better. Childress Racing is definitely coming to around. I like Kevin Harvick and Jeff Burton, they are definitely in my Top 5 if not #2 and #3 drivers. I think Tony Stewart will make the chase next year, and Ryan Newman is a wildcard, and capable of winning if given very good equipment. I think Joey Lagano is overrated, and Brad Keselowski(sp?) will be the one to watch for Rookie of the Year. Maybe Scott Speed will show some performance too. I think all teams improved in the end, and next year will be exciting to watch! Can't wait till Daytona 2009!!! Let's go racing boys!

Great Military Operation!

This is what the military needs to be used for other than defense. When Americans are accosted overseas, we should send in Special Operations! It was told that an American Hostage was rescued over the weekend by SpecialOPS in Afghanistan, and it was a very exhilarating story! We should strike fear in our enemies, and give Americans a sense of security that America will rescue you in any hostage situation.

2008 Car Manufacturer Bailout Request

Wow! This is an awesome car! Can't wait until I can afford one in 2010. I expect a quick sales spike when they first some out, but I don't know if 100,000 people a year will be buying the car, which is the projective sales prediction. Still debating between a covertible or this one. Tough Tough decisions. I just hope they will make the car, and don't go bankrupt before it's been mass produced. The big Three major car manufacturers are requesting a 65 Billion dollar bailout. Bailing out private business with taxpayer money should not be stood for. It seems as if most people were not in favor of this bailout! Is this Trillion Dollar transfer of spending power that was given to the Executive Branch, only going to increase with the new administration? Is this taxation without representation?? I believe so, it's time to take this government back from it's ramparting abuse of the constitution. These people that you are continue to elect are not for you, they are for spending your money. We should let businesses who cannot run themselves fail. As the small businesses grow into medium businesses accommodating the transition of workers. I think the scene of the business of cars is going to change to spot production instead of mass production.

Next to last race in the Chase : Phoenix 2008

This race was actually good. There was good racing all around. Junior pretty much maintained top 5 the whole race and came in a lucky 6. Jimmie Johnson has just been dominating this year, and deserves his 3rd in a row championship and wins at Pheonix. They have set the bar for every other team next year. One more Race to go, with a season recap!

AJ Allmendinger causes problems for Matt Kenseth and Tony Stewart, and Matt gives him a little thank you at the end of the race. Hope we don't move to getting lawyers for teams to see who is at fault, and who will pay for the fixing of race cars. With the economy spiraling down... who knows...

Off to Homestead and the end of the season. Junior puts himself back in the Top 10 in Championship Points, and hopefully a seat at the Waldof-Astoria.
