The Germans are reporting that Venezuela and Iran have reached an agreement to build a ballistic missile base in Venezuela. Should you be concerned? The answer is unequivocally yes. Especially if you live in the Southeastern United States. Although the US Government only acknowledges a 1000km ballistic missile, in which would not reach the US, but this does not accurately describe the capabilities of Iran's ballistic missile program. The Israeli's have describe a missile that Iran has that can reach 2000km, which would reach Florida at the least. There have been reports that Russia has sold some of their SSN6 missiles to Iran, in which they can have up to a 3000km range, which would include most of the Southeast if the Missile base was placed strategically in Venezuela. Iran itself claims they will be launching rockets into space which really places the whole United States in the red within a range of a rocket of that sort. The most disturbing issue is that the United States Government is not even acknowledging or responding to such a threat, which is a direct threat to the United States of America.
