It is a pleasure to have the ability to contact you. Thank you for your service to North
Carolina. I am writing in reference to Senate Bill 891. The "Child Medication Safety Act of
2007" is a very important bill that is stuck in committee right now. I believe this bill
should be brought back to the floor, and voted on. It is very important to stand up for the
citizen in this country. Not allowing drugs to be forced down the throat of our babies, is
something that should be right up front with everything else. Senator Inhofe took a great
initiative introducing such a positive step in seperating further government out of health
care. With the recent case in the United Kingdom, authorizing child protective sevices to
take children whose parents refuse to medicate them, and the correct business of saving
children from cultisms, protecting our children from drug companies is very much on the
minds of Americans. I ask that you help this bill become law, so that drug companies can
stop ruining the minds of bright young children who just need something exciting and
interesting to do. I'm also sure that Senator Paul would also help your cause, especially
with his position on medicating children. I really think the country could use some positive
news. Protecting our children and their futures is very important to America. Thank you for
your time.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Continues
I definitely have been playing this game more. I finally got a tuned vehicle, the ZO6, of course. And I mostly am racing online in the Expert PPT700 Daytona Section. There are still crappy drivers, and of course i'm not perfect either, but there aren't as many bashers in Expert. Can't wait to get the full version.

I thought this race was pretty good. It took two cars to run past anyone. Junior could have caught up with the front pack and perhaps even play out for a win if he had had a partner. It's kinda like spades at a party, never know who you'll get. Consistency is the winner for a championship. Keep up the good work #88!

Letter to the NC Governor: National Identication
The RealID Act, HR 1268 and HR 418 completely infringes on State's Rights. I would like to know why you are in support of this Act, and are currently implementing this Act into our system. How can you stand by and watch your local state DMV be called ingnorant, stupid, and incapable of creating an ID system that would easily identify people who drive? The whole purpose of a Driver's License is to identify to law enforcement agencies that you are eligible to drive. I would like to know why you have agreed to allow a private organization force you into a private project. I would like to know why North Carolina's DMV is not allowed to make it's own decisions about what may or may not be on a North Carolina Driver's License. You have not stood against HR 1268 and HR 418, and extended the power of your position to stand up to the federal government. The fourth checks and balances on the federal government are the states. You are mandating a state program to be run the way the federal government wants it run. Is your office solely significant in token presence only? Should we just dissolve the Office of the Governor? You are allowing the federal government to tell you how to run your State DMV. Should we just hand over all state run organizations to the federal government? If the United States Government wants a specific identification document for all its citizens, then have them force people to get their passports. I obtained a new license today, because I have changed my address. I was appalled to see on the back of my license a picture of the North American Continent(almost exactly like the Security Partnership and Prosperity of North America Logo), instead of a beautiful hologram of the wonderful state of North Carolina. This hologram that is currently on my license is created and pushed by the American Association of Motor Vehicles, a private organization. This hologram also has another specific identification number on it. My wife has just obtained a new license and her number on the hologram is different. Why do you feel it is necessary to have this organization control you in your decisions on making the creativity of the North Carolina's Driver's License unique to our State? Government should not be controlled by private businesses. By placing this hologram on our license you are allowing a private business make decisions about a government document. This is a piece of gross negligence by your office. North Carolina is a great state, and should be displayed on North Carolina Driver's Licenses in all aspects with no exceptions. A picture hologram with an extra identification number embedded in it, developed by a private enterprise should not be considered. Do you not have faith in the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles? Do you think that there are individuals within the Department of Motor Vehicles who cannot develop an outstanding license with wonderful pictures of North Carolina on it? This hologram relinquishes another right of a state to administer its own citizens. I call on you to remove this hologram from the North Carolina Driver's License. This small hologram is only the first to replace all items special to North Carolina. What shall we remove next? The Hatteras Lighthouse? The Wright Brothers Plane? What are you willing to replace it with? The White House, or The Capitol Building? This simple abuse of powers gone unchecked by the States will only start a cascade of "federally mandated" infringements on State's rights. We are the United States of America, not United America. Our United States Constitution specifically spells out the division of powers. Please do not let that document pass away with North Carolina leading the procession of States who become powerless to the federal government.Thank you for your time.

April 28, 2008
Dear Mr. Owens,
Governor Easley’s office has requested that I respond to your recent correspondence regarding the Real ID Act of 2005 and the hologram on the back of your North Carolina driver license.
The issuance of a driver license has traditionally been first and foremost proof of the holder’s ability to drive. Since the 1990s, the Division of Motor Vehicles has produced a document in the form of an identification card that is used to prove identity for persons not eligible for a driver license. Since the tragedy of 9/11, the focus of driver licensing nationwide has shifted from highway safety to public safety in recognition that the driver license or identification card in a variety of ways touches bigger issues of public safety.
Because of that growing concern, the North Carolina Legislature and Division of Motor Vehicles have launched a concerted effort to improve the integrity of the driver licensing process and implemented other changes that have made North Carolina’s license one of the most secure in the country.
Effective January 1, 2002, all driver license applicants must provide proof of their social security number prior to issuance of a license. On March 1, 2004, the Social Security On-Line Verification (SSOLV) was implemented statewide. An issuance can not be completed until a favorable response is returned from the Social Security Administration.
The REAL ID Act was passed by Congress and signed into law in May of 2005. The law requires states begin complying with the requirements beginning May 2008.
North Carolina should not have a problem meeting the first phase of the Real ID requirements. One of the most recent changes in North Carolina law will require that beginning in July 2008 driver licenses must be issued from a central location in the state and mailed to customers. Central issuance is meant to add safety measures to the production, manufacturing and issuance of the North Carolina driver license and to assure that it is issued to the individual who requests it. Extensive document review will be incorporated into the waiting period. While customers wait for their new license, they may keep their current license for identification purposes and be issued a 20-day temporary driving certificate.
The hologram on the back of all North Carolina driver licenses issued since December of 2006 is a security feature which is planned to be eventually included on licenses throughout the United States. The hologram was added to the North Carolina license as a common security element, which enhances security, protects against document fraud and aids law enforcement.
Because of differences in licenses among states, motor vehicle officials worked in unison through the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) to establish a common element that identifies licenses as legally issued by an official motor vehicle agency. This common element will assist those who depend on driver licenses to identify people throughout the country at a glance, including those driving on the interstates, checking into airports and for other security efforts.
The security element is a foil-based holographic patch on the back of the license which carries multiple layers of design features both visible and invisible to the human eye, including a variety of 3-D fluorescent images, codes, numbers, and other items.
The many images on the patch include a globe with longitude and latitude lines showing North and Central America, as well as parts of South America, Australia, Africa, and Europe. Other images include an automobile with headlights. “NC” is printed in each of the four corners of the patch, denoting the patch represents North Carolina and no other state, country, or continent. The patch does not contain personal information, radio chips, or fingerprint information.
The multiple images were added to make the patch difficult to copy or counterfeit, while also making it more recognizable to law enforcement and security officers. Since the hologram is a part of the license that is intended to identify it as a legally issued document, attempting to remove or deface it could result in the authenticity of the license being questioned.
If I can assist you in other matters of mutual interest, feel free to let me know.

Letter to Dr. Ron Paul -Presidential Candidate 2008
Dear Dr. Paul,Good Luck in the Presidential Election. I disagree with you on your position with Iran. I have been following this specific issue and feel your stance on this issue is poor. Have you reviewed the IAEA reports on what Iran is and isn't doing? If you have, you would realize that Iran is not complying with UN regulations on nuclear transparency. If you have read any of the reports, you would understand that there is much to be found out about Iran's nuclear program. I understand that the UN is a failing institution filled with beaurocrats much like our current government, but it's tenets, like our US Constitution, is sound. I believe that the avenue for "business and friendship" with our neighbors should be contingent on their willingness for peace and prosperity. Threats of wiping out countries are unnecessary, much like the rhetoric from Senator Clinton. Iran indeed is very much a threat to National Security, and is like a child who continues to press the limits of structure at every opportunity. You would not give a friend a gun who continually says seriously that he's going to kill your neighbor, would you? Iran must fully comply to IAEA regulations. Your foreign policy plans are limited. I think that is a mistake. I believe that we should be a global presence, not only militarily, but diplomatically. We should aide when asked, our friends in the global community who are bullied. We don't want to live in a world where all guns are pointed at us, unknowingly.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue
I got mine yesterday. Bought GT5 Prologue at Best Buy in Durham, NC, they had 15 copies left. But they didn't have any DS3 controllers, had to stop at the local Gamespot to pick that up. I was very impressed with the graphics of course, and was excited about online gameplay(love the country tag). I'm digging in deep so I can get some Ferrari's, and unlocking all the stuff. The only real dissappointment was the lack of stats. I was expecting a Call of Duty 4 type statistical record. But it only seems to display lap times, if you run the time trials. I was hoping it would keep up with how many times you finished X race in X car in X track in X position, and all variations of the sort; or course with the generic Place finishes percentiles. I could have swore I read somewhere that they said this game would have the best online statistics ever. Yet to see that. I cannot compare the realism in this game, I mean GT4 was superb to me as well, this is just setting the bar for every other game out there. I haven't really looked around the official forum site, but I implore a "Wreckers" type thread with the ability to point out people who race to wreck people. Rubbing is racing, but to come across the track just to smash into someone isn't rubbing. Retaliation is futile(now I know) because you just hurt yourself in the process if you truely are attempting to race. I'm sure as more and more people buy GT5P, that more people will be online to play. I am impressed with the Canadian response, and can't wait to see some UK tags, and to stomp some IRAN tags to the ground., didn't see any [JP] tags though, guess they have all moved to the Intermediate and Expert by now. I hope they have Nurenburg(sp?) online, that would be awesome. I'd also like to see the new Camaro as well.

Movie Review: Flags of our Fathers
This is a great movie that interlaced a real story with some real action. It was perfectly balanced, and Clint Eastwood is truely coming into his directing ability. World War II holds so many stories. It is a shame how we have not changed our attitudes towards veterans, and how poorly they are still being treated. People who serve/have served in our military are all heroes no matter what part they play in the battles. This is definitely a keeper.
NASCAR: Pheonix 04-12-2008
I thought this was a very good race. Dale Jr, pounded through the field and lead a lot of laps around the end. But, he lost the handling in the end and finished 7th. It was definitely dissappointing to see that loss, but congratulations to Jimmie Johnson(ugh) and the 48 team on their slick rick win on fuel mileage. I think Elliot Sadler showed his true driving ability, and I think that there are a few more good drivers other than the Top 20. I still think there must be plenty of driving opportunities because of all the filler drivers who really are no good, never get a Top 10, but still race every race. It sucks for the fans to have a weekend off, but I know the drivers and teams work hard. David Gilliland is definitely a candidate for that 4th RCR team, he has shown up every race ready to go, and is doing very well week after week. See you guys at Talledega!

Dale Jr Wins the Pole! Lots of green flag racing. Overtime. Dale Jr. falls off the lead lap, and finishes 12th. I guess the handling was just too much to overcome throughout the race. Still top 12 in the points! Congratulations Carl Edwards, who had one of the strongest cars all day. See you at Pheonix!

Freedom to Fascism
If you can only watch one video from my blog. This is the video to watch. This video not only gives factual evidence of the small few who wish to control the world financially, but gives a good background to all the ideas presented. I hope this video will spur the revolution, which not really is a revolution. People need to understand that they are in control of their government. Tax Collectors have always been abhorred even in Biblical Times. The problem with today's Tax Collector's, The IRS, is that they use force to bamboozle people into paying taxes that aren't legal based on the US Constitution. Knowledge is power, and people are too busy trying to make a living to pay attention to what is going on. The biggest issue we need to fight and start to bring and end to the Federal Reserve System. The Federal Reserve System is a PRIVATE BANK. It is not a government bank. The US Constitution garuntees our right to coin money. We need to do that. As soon as Nixon removed us from the Gold Standard, and allowed the Federal Reserve to steal our gold, inflation has rising dramatically. There are many charts available to prove that point. A big point and concern made in this video, is that is there anyone out there willing to stand up to this greivous error made by congress in 1913. The Federal Reserve system needs to be abolished. Standup for your rights. Join us at http://RestoretheRepublic.com . Watch the video at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1656880303867390173 .
LooseChange- The Final Cut
This is a much watch video, if you want to have some hard evidence to support the theory that government was involved in 9-11. I am convinced that the public was withheld information, and we were lied to about the happenings about 9-11. Bush made obvious lies to the public portrayed in this video with actual clips, followed with the actual evidence. The biggest kicker of the whole idea that we were involved to me was proved by Rudy Guiliani statement that he was told that the towers were going to fall. As common knowledge is portrayed that the towers were supposed to withstand a hit from a Boeing 707, the biggest airplane of the time comparable to the plane that hit the trade centers. So, the fact that "someone" knew that they were going to fall seals the deal for me. Also the fact that Guiliani would not reveal who told him that also fuels the fire. Right before the first tower fell in one of the clips if you pause it and run it second by second you catch a big ball of flame suddenly appear in about 5 floors above the area that fell, like an explosion. The weight of the top tower caused the whole building to fall... but when the whole building fell on Building 3 and 6, they still stood. WTC 7 was an obvious demolition job. So, did Larry Silverstein who signed a 99 year lease on the WTC complex make ANY money from these buildings being destroyed? I think that is an issue that needs to be explored. In any regards I tried to post the whole video on my blog for the past 48 hours, and have been unsuccessful, so I have a link to the whole video.
