The American Reality

The reality is that the government would never write a 3 million dollar check to the American Public. The other turth is that 100,000,000,000 divided by 300,000,000 = 333.33, so The American Dream is not a reality. It does provide us with good thinking processes. We should constantly question our government officials. We should always think about how they spend our tax dollars. Would you goto your local bank and say here, just have 300 dollars, I want to help you out. No, I do not know of anyone that would. Government should not be in the business of bailing out private or publicly traded businesses. If you business fails that is the sole responsibilty of the business owner. We should not have to burden ourselves with bailing out bad businesses and their practices. The abuse of the Mortgage Companies are obvious. Why should anyone have to pay 125% plus on any loan regardless of how long the terms are? The government places limits on small loans of up to 29%. Why will they not place limits on Mortgage loans. Every American that has a Mortgage is getting abused. They are getting their money taken from them on a monthly basis. The propoganda of The American Dream made you think about being a millionaire, but in reality the goal of the propoganda is to make you think about what your government is doing. It is to make you think about being more proactive. It is to remind you that you do have control over your government, but you have to participate. If you do not participate you do not have any representation. George Bush may not have made the best decisions, but how many other President's have sent you money in the mail? Think about that when you deposit or cash that check that is coming to you this summer. Because that check is a reality.
