Post #74 wanted to know what the Bill #s were, because the author of the following article http://www.infowars.com/?p=4334#comment-531910 was not specific.
My Post was as follows:
Here is your information:
S.RES.580 Title: A resolution expressing the sense of the Senate on preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapons capability. Sponsor: Sen Bayh, Evan [IN] (introduced 6/2/2008) Cosponsors (49) Related Bills: H.CON.RES.362 Latest Major Action: 6/2/2008 Referred to Senate committee. Status: Referred to the Committee on Foreign Relations.
H.CON.RES.362 Title: Expressing the sense of Congress regarding the threat posed to international peace, stability in the Middle East, and the vital national security interests of the United States by Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons and regional hegemony, and for other purposes. Sponsor: Rep Ackerman, Gary L. [NY-5] (introduced 5/22/2008) Cosponsors (261) Related Bills: S.RES.580 Latest Major Action: 5/22/2008 Referred to House committee. Status: Referred to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs.
Both of these Bills are in committee, and I have checked both committees websites, neither have these bills scheduled for review. SO, they are out there and valid. But what does this mean? I agree that Iran should not have the capability for making Nuclear Weapons, but they should have the capability to provide for their own economic energy policies with a nuclear source. I think all countries should have Nuclear Transparency including the US. Iran is definitely not complying with the IAEA, and all the necessary items it needs to review, and they must comply.
I wish to reiterate to people that Israel is a STATE, not a religion. Israel is currently occupying territory that is not theirs, you should look at the facts of the Palestinian struggle, and the methods that Israel has taken to maintain their superiority over the Palestinian people. The use of overwhelming force and treating people as lesser human beings should not be tolerated in today's world.
